Drake London injury update: Latest on Falcons WR for today's game vs Buccaneers
The Atlanta Falcons are going to have to play a fourth straight game without their best wide receiver.
Atlanta's three injury reports for Week 15 all listed Drake London as a non-participant in practice. On Dec. 10, the Falcons ruled out their top wideout for their clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on "Thursday Night Football."
London sustained a knee injury in the final moments of regulation in the Falcons' Week 11 overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 16. He has not returned to the field since suffering the ailment.
Atlanta's Week 15 game will be the fourth game in a row that London will have missed thanks to the knee issue. It's also the fifth game this year that the third-year receiver will be absent from.

Despite missing the Falcons' last three games, London is still the team leader in targets, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, 20+ yard receptions and receiving first downs.

Is Drake London playing today?
On Dec. 10, the Falcons ruled London out for Week 15's "Thursday Night Football" game against the Buccaneers. It will be the fourth straight game London has missed due to his PCL sprain.
The Falcons' leading receiver was listed as a non-participant in each of the three Atlanta practices leading up to the Dec. 11 game due to his knee injury. London's absence in Week 15 will be his fifth overall missed game this season after only ever missing one game in the first three years of his career. A hip injury sidelined London in Week 8 before he missed four straight games with his knee injury from Week 12-15.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris told reporters on Dec. 1 that London's status had been upgraded to "day-to-day" ahead of Week 14's game. The wideout still ended up missing the game and will miss yet another week despite his upgraded status.

London recorded more than 100 yards in each of the three games he last appeared in before sustaining his knee injury in Week 11. Here's how his stats look through 14 weeks and nine games played:

London's 13.5 yards per catch would be the highest mark in his career in a single season. The Falcons' leading receiver is averaging exactly 90 yards per game and, as a result, could still reach the 1,000-yard mark for a second year in a row if he returns next week. London needs three more touchdowns to match his career high of nine, which he set last year.

The Falcons have many wide receivers on their roster, but very few outside of London have been significant contributors in Atlanta's passing offense. Despite all of the missed time, London is still the only Falcons wide receiver with at least 25 catches. Tight end Kyle Pitts and running back Bijan Robinson are the only other pass-catchers to hit that mark.
Mooney, Washington, Sills, Drummond, Hodge and Thompkins have 49 receptions combined, which cumulatively still ranks fourth behind Pitts (62), London (60) and Robinson (56).
