April 8 (Reuters) - General Motors is recalling 271,770 cars in the U.S. over an issue with the rearview camera, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.

* Recall includes Chevrolet Malibu sedans, NHTSA said. * The rearview camera screen may display a distorted orblank image, reducing the driver's view behind the vehicle,according to the NHTSA. * The agency said that dealers will inspect and replace therearview camera.
