Liam Neeson takes pride in fatherhood.

The Schindler's List actor welcomed two sons with his late wife Natasha Richardson: Micheál in 1995 and Daniel in 1996. After Richardson tragically died in 2009, Neeson raised them through their teenage years as a single dad. Micheál has since followed in his dad's footsteps into acting, making his film debut in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Daniel also studied theater at Tulane University but has become an entrepreneur, founding his own tequila brand De Nada.

"It's an ongoing joy being a dad. It's always a joy, but it's a joyful worry," Neeson told Her magazine in 2012. "No matter what age they are, they're still going to be your little boy or your little girl. And you are a hostage to love."

When he's not working as a blockbuster action star, Neeson and his family mostly stay out of the public eye, but they occasionally enjoy watching a good game of sports. On the star's 74th birthday, June 7, 2026, see Neeson's rare photos with his beloved boys over the years.
