Former CNN news anchor Jim Acosta is married!
Acosta, 55, tied the knot with PBS NewsHour's White House correspondent Liz Landers at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia, on Saturday, June 6, the Washingtonian reported. The couple, who met while working at CNN, got engaged six months ago in Hawaii.
"My grandfather was a retired Army general, and he spent a lot of time at Army Navy Country Club in his later years," Landers, 35, told the news outlet before the wedding. "I have so many memories of family meals and summer camp there as a kid."
"It's very special to be getting married there and I know my grandfather's presence will be felt," she added.

Around 150 guests attended the couple's "classic but unfussy and fun" wedding, officiated by Landers' friend from college, John Lapin.
Landers paired a Kyha dress and custom veil by hat designer Eric Javits with Christian Louboutin heels for the special occasion. According to the Washingtonian, she completed her look with jewelry from her mom's family.

Acosta was equally polished in a tuxedo by Geoffrey Lewis, per the outlet. The former CNN news anchor's siblings provided readings during the ceremony, which also included music from a string duet.

In a post on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 7, Acosta was seen dancing alongside his mother at the wedding reception, decorated with flowers and candles. He appeared smitten in photos shared of him and Landers at the altar and during their first dance.
Landers also shared several sweet photos on her Instagram Stories, including kissing Acosta at their wedding reception, posing for snaps with friends and holding her wedding ring up toward a camera.

According to the Washingtonian, an old-fashioned telephone guest book was provided at the reception for guests to share advice for the couple.
Acosta and Landers, who are set to honeymoon in Capri, kept their relationship relatively private before getting engaged on New Year's Eve in Hawaii.
