Kristin Cavallari is not one to hold back when it comes to sharing juicy on-set stories from her time on reality TV.

During the April 7 episode of her Let's Be Honest podcast with former Laguna Beach co-star Lauren Conrad, Cavallari, 39, confessed to dating a member of The Hills crew, cameraman Miguel Medina, in 2010. And she revealed he lost his job because of their secret relationship.

“Did you know that I hooked up with a cameraman on The Hills?” Cavallari asked Conrad, 40, after mentioning that she would go out on dates in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles to avoid paparazzi.

Conrad said she "never hooked up with any crew," to which Cavallari smiled and replied, "You missed out!"

"There's nothing like a set romance," Cavallari continued, reassuring Conrad that they properly dated for a while. "We hung out for a couple of months. And we kept it a secret. I was dating Brody [Jenner] on the show. So I was like, 'We’re being professional.'"

Cavallari has admitted in the past that she and Jenner had a fake relationship for the show, as he was still dating Jayde Nicole at the time. (The women's famous feud scene was reportedly completely fabricated.)

The Uncommon James founder invited Medina to Canada to attend the MuchMusic Awards with her at the time, but their relationship was exposed when they were photographed together at the airport a week before the show wrapped.

"And they fired him," Cavallari said of producers. "I remember I fought with [show creator] Adam [DiVello]. I was like, 'You guys would have never had any idea. We’ve been nothing but professional.'"

Conrad went on to mention that fellow The Hills alum Whitney Port married her The City producer, Tim Rosenman, and it was no big deal.

"How is that OK?!" Cavallari laughed. "I've thought about that many a times, like, 'Wait, how is she OK to do that but I couldn't?"

Cavallari moved on from her behind-the-scenes romance and married NFL player Jay Cutler in 2013. They welcomed three children before divorcing in 2022. Conrad married musician William Tell in 2014, and they share two sons.

The former frenemies have been reliving their time on Laguna Beach as a reunion special is set to premiere on the Roku Channel on April 10 — in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the reality series.

"I think it was great," Conrad told PEOPLE of making up with Cavallari, who also noted that she was "really happy" about ending their feud.

"It was part of what we wanted to show is that we've all grown, we're all adults, a lot of us are parents. And I think that as you get older, you're not worried about the small stuff," Conrad insisted.
