Meghan Markle's £120,000 engagement ring was missing from her latest promotional content for As Ever, her lifestyle brand, despite the Duchess of Sussex displaying an otherwise impressive array of jewellery.

The 44-year-old shared a recipe for her "favourite ice cream sundae" on the brand's Instagram page, layering raspberry spread, vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread and flower sprinkles in a glass.

Royal watchers were quick to notice that while the former actress wore several eye-catching pieces throughout the footage, the sparkler designed for her by Prince Harry was nowhere to be seen.

It is now believed to have been absent from her hand for more than four months.

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted wearing her wedding band alongside a substantial diamond pear band valued at approximately £185,000, which jewellery experts have previously described as "an engagement ring upgrade."

On her right hand, she sported a previously unseen gold band that has yet to be identified.

Princess Diana's Cartier Tank Française watch, worth £17,800, was also visible on her wrist. The timepiece was given to Meghan following her marriage to the Duke of Sussex.

Completing the collection was a Jennifer Meyer mini bezel tennis bracelet, a £2,370 piece crafted from polished 18-carat yellow gold and designed by the ex-wife of actor Tobey Maguire.

The five-carat pear-cut diamond ring she wore on her right hand first appeared publicly in October 2025 at Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day Festival in New York.

Prince Harry commissioned the late Queen Elizabeth II's preferred jeweller, Cleave & Company, to craft a bespoke ring when he proposed in 2017 at Nottingham Cottage.

He secretly borrowed one of Meghan's existing rings to ensure the correct sizing, and in a poignant nod to his mother, had diamonds taken from one of Princess Diana's bracelets for the design.

The ring is thought to have undergone four modifications since.

At Trooping the Colour in June 2019, it appeared with a slimmer band and small diamonds added along the sides — a change jewellery expert Arabel Lebrusan characterised as reflecting a more American aesthetic.

Further speculation arose in 2022 when the ring appeared to feature additional diamonds around the central stone during the Invictus Games in The Hague, suggesting a second alteration.

The piece went missing from several public appearances in 2023, reportedly due to a loose stone requiring repair — what some considered a third modification.

Sharp-eyed fans then noticed in 2025 that the central diamond appeared to resemble an emerald cut rather than the original cushion cut when glimpsed in a trailer for her Netflix series.

Some interpreted this as a fourth redesign, while others suggested it might have been a replica used to protect the original during cooking scenes.
