Melania Trump's aide says she's 'still very active' after 'vanishing' from White House

Melania Trump's senior adviser, Marc Beckman, has hit back at claims the first lady has disappeared from public life, insisting she is "still very active" and working behind the scenes on major projects.
His comments come after Melania, 56, fueled concern among her fans following a string of missed public appearances, including the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner and the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham.
While President Donald Trump, 80, attended the events, Melania was notably absent. The first lady has traditionally played a visible role at major Washington events. Now, her senior adviser Marc has defended her work, saying she is still keeping very busy.

In an interview with Newsmax, Marc said, "She still is very active and working directly with both governments." The clip was shared on X with the caption, "Senior Advisor to First Lady Melania Trump, @MarcBeckman, detailed Melania's efforts to bring children home from the Russia-Ukraine war. @FLOTUS."
The remarks come after Marc appeared on Eric Bolling's Real America's Voice show, where he discussed Melania's ongoing projects and humanitarian efforts.

During the interview, Marc, 57, shared several initiatives the first lady has been involved in, including her Amazon documentary and continued work helping reunite children separated from their families during the Russia-Ukraine war.
He claimed Melania is preparing to take part in a fifth family reunification effort, following previous attempts to help bring children affected by the conflict back to their relatives. Marc praised the first lady's efforts and suggested they had not received enough recognition.
He said, "No first lady in the history of the United States has done this level of humanitarian work. In fact, I think that we should, or somebody should be acknowledging there should be some level of recognition for the humanitarian work that she's done to date."
Melania has previously said her work with children and families remains one of her priorities, continuing themes from her earlier Be Best initiative, which focused on children's wellbeing, online safety and opioid abuse prevention.

Alongside her humanitarian work, Marc also revealed that a doc-series is set to be released soon following the success of the Melania film, which released earlier this year. He shared, "Well, here's the thing. So, this fall, we are following the film with a docu-series surrounding the first lady, surrounding Melania Trump.
"It's a completely different look at her world. It's a shot entirely different, and it gives the viewers a little bit of a peek as to what happens right at the beginning of the new 47th presidential administration."
"You might remember if you saw the film, we only capture 20 days of the first lady's life. We open the window a little bit into her private life, her marriage, her family," Marc explained. "We open a little deeper into her career as well as her philanthropy. But with the docu series, it's a little bit different. It's shot different. It's a different story. It's a full new experience for the viewers, and that's going to be coming this fall."
