North West appeared on TikTok with new body modifications amid ongoing controversy around her finger piercings

The aspiring rapper, 13, posted videos of herself with stud-like jewelry on her thighs

West has previously stirred conversation around her appearance, which has included blue hair and fake face tattoos

North West appears to have gotten new piercings despite mixed reactions to her past fashion choices.

For months, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has been rocking dermal piercings on her hands and fingers, and she seemingly went and got the same style of body modification on her thighs, as seen in new TikTok videos.

Clips posted on the teen’s joint account with Kardashian show her with two metal studs placed in the center of each thigh. In both videos, North wears a miniskirt that shows off the jewelry.

On July 1, North was filmed with bandages over the piercing placement, seemingly indicating that they are real, in addition to when she may have gotten them done.

According to WebMD, dermal piercings — which are anchored below the skin — should be covered for a couple days when done to promote healing.

North was first spotted with piercings in Rome on vacation with Kardashian. Since then, she has increased her collection of body modifications to include spiked studs near her knuckles.

Despite online criticism about her appearance, the budding rapper has defended her style on multiple occasions, as has Kardashian, who commented, “This is such a non-issue,” under a Daily Mail Australia TikTok post that reported that North was worrying fans with her “new look.”

The SKIMS founder has also asked for the public to lend her more “grace” in terms of raising her daughter.

“I’m like, okay, we’re never wearing that again. Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world,” she said on an October 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, adding, “as a mom, you’re kind of like learning at the same time.”

North was meant to be embarking on her first headlining tour alongside rapper Molly Santana after releasing her debut EP, N0rth4evr. However, tour dates for both Dallas and the Aug. 17 shows in Toronto have been marked as “canceled” on Ticketmaster, and the tour’s official website appears to have been taken down.

In addition to North, Kardashian and West share sons Saint, 10 and Psalm, 7, and youngest daughter Chicago, 8.
