Rosie O’Donnell’s son Parker, 31, attended an early performance of her one-woman show, Rosie O’Donnell: Common Knowledge, in New York City

Her children, Vivienne and Blake, were also photographed backstage with her following a show earlier this week

Rosie O’Donnell‘s oldest son, Parker Jaren O’Donnell, is supporting his mom’s new show!

Parker, 31, made a rare public appearance at a performance of his mom’s new one-woman show titled Rosie O’Donnell: Common Knowledge at The Daryl Roth Theatre on Wednesday, July 22 in New York City.

Parker was photographed smiling at the camera as he proudly held up a Stagelight program for his mom’s show with her picture on the front. He wore a green polo shirt with a silver necklace for the big night.

Rosie, 64, shares Parker, along with his siblings, Chelsea, 28, Blake, 26, and Vivienne, 23, with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, and her youngest child, Clay, 13, with late ex-wife Michelle Rounds.

This isn’t the first time that her kids have shown up to her show to share their support. Vivienne, Blake and his wife Teresa also attended an early performance of Rosie’s show on Tuesday, July 21.

They shared a photo with The Rosie O’Donnell Show alum backstage following the performance. In the snap, the proud mom could be seen beaming at the camera as she stood in the middle of her children.

As for Chelsea, she is currently serving an 18-month prison sentence in Wisconsin for drug possession, so she is not able to attend. However, her mother has visited her in recent months.

The A League of Their Own actress, who lost her mother at a young age, shared some insight into her family life, and revealed in this week’s cover story for PEOPLE that “all I wanted my whole life was to have a bunch of kids.”

“People sometimes say, ‘That’s so great of you that you adopted. You saved those kids.’ And I say, ‘No, no, no. Those kids saved me,’ “ she shared.

“It was like each kid was like a swimmy, like I was putting in them on and I was staying afloat because of my love for them and my desire to give them a nice, beautiful, loving family that said I love you, which was never said in my house, and hugged and my kids now, when I see them and I’m leaving, I go, ‘I love you,’ ” she added.

Her family has continued to expand even more. She announced that she welcomed her fifth grandson on Instagram in March.

“Anthony Joel O’Donnell has arrived! And my heart burst open,” O’Donnell captioned a black-and-white photo of her grandson’s foot in the hospital. “Congratulations to mama Teresa n Blake Christopher — I love u so ❤️❤️❤️.”

She also shared a follow-up post showing herself meeting her grandchild for the first time, writing that it was the “best day ever” and that he was “truly a beautiful child.“
