Ryan Seacrest shared the red and green flags he looks for in a relationship on a recent episode of his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest
He also revealed that he has "a test" he takes potential partners on to see how they will react
He later explained that some of his preferences are very specific, including how they take their coffee and what their phone's alarm sound is
Ryan Seacrest knows exactly what he’s looking for in a partner.
During an April 6 segment of On Air With Ryan Seacrest, the host, 51, opened up about what he considers a red and green flag in a relationship. Noting that “simple things can tell a lot” about a person, Seacrest explained that one of the most important qualities is “politeness to strangers.”
“When you're out on a run or a walk or a bike ride, do you say hi to people that pass?” he listed as an example of how he evaluates someone’s manners. “If you don't, I'm not so sure about you. And if someone says ‘good morning’ to you on the path and you don't respond, that is a red flag.”
“I take everybody out for a little exercise. It's a test,” he went on to reveal.
After joking that another green flag is when a woman does “not have a boyfriend,” Seacrest got into his more unique qualifications for an ideal partner.
“I really look forward to getting up and having my coffee,” he explained. “I think if we can't share that moment together, it's a red flag. So, ‘I need coffee,’ is a green flag. Don't have a lot, and please don't put milks and stuff in it.”
That answer sparked reactions from his cohosts, with Tanya Rad telling Seacrest, “Relax!”
Sisanie added, “Let them live. Are you kidding me?”

Maintaining his stance on the topic, Seacrest quipped, “Green flag, black coffee drinker.”
Another particular preference he has is alarm sounds. “You cannot have one of those things that just ruins your day from the beginning,” Seacrest declared. “It's got to be a chimey thing. Like a pleasant, not a hardcore alarm. Chimes. Green flag.”

Seacrest then declared his final prerequisite to date him: “Can get ready in less than 27 minutes. ‘Cause not 30. It's not 25. 27. Green flag. If you're over an hour, and I have been there over an hour. What are you doing?”
“How many poses can you make in the mirror for 90-plus minutes?” he continued. “What are you doing? Like, I have to go back to work. You missed your window. Time's up. We missed our window to do anything.”

Seacrest’s comments come shortly after he spoke about his love life during a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune. While leading a series of “Love Is in the Air” themed games with all married couple contestants, he joked, “I am so lonely up here.”
Later, he brought up his singleness again, saying, “I love ‘Love Is In The Air.’ I am so excited to watch all of these shows. And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.”
Seacrest hosts Wheel of Fortune, which airs at 7:30 p.m. ET.
